Draft for legal review. Not legal advice.

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 18, 2026

The short version

  • Corexis is provided under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
  • These terms add a few points specific to Corexis.
  • Corexis is a wellness companion, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
  • Your care team's instructions always come first.

Apple's standard license agreement

Apps on the App Store are licensed, not sold. Corexis is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA").

These terms add points specific to Corexis. The app shows most of them under Settings > About > Disclaimer and legal. "We" and "us" mean Remdebund, the publisher of Corexis.

Not medical advice

Corexis is a wellness companion with a routine timer, tracking and your own notes. It is not a medical device as defined by any regulatory authority. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Everything in the app is general information only and is not medical advice.

No doctor-patient relationship

Using Corexis doesn't create a doctor-patient relationship, or any other clinical relationship, between you and us.

For any question about your condition or recovery, ask your urologist, surgeon or another qualified healthcare provider. Never ignore professional medical advice, or delay getting it, because of something you saw in the app. If your healthcare provider's advice differs from anything in the app, follow your healthcare provider.

Emergencies

If you have a medical emergency, including fever, heavy bleeding, inability to urinate, severe pain, chest pain or shortness of breath, contact your local emergency services right away.

Corexis can't assess symptoms, detect emergencies or give emergency medical help.

Your exercise routine

The baseline routine in the app is a starting point, not a personalized plan. Set it to match what your care team advised. How hard, how often and when to exercise are best agreed with your healthcare provider, who knows your recovery.

Corexis pauses exercise reminders while your catheter is in. If a reminder appears during that time, ignore it.

Your data and backups

Corexis keeps your data on your iPhone. Corexis has no servers and shares nothing automatically. If your iPhone uses iCloud Backup, that backup includes Corexis data. Our Privacy Policy explains the details.

Backing up your records is your responsibility. In the app, go to Settings > About > Privacy and tap "Create backup file". We aren't responsible for data lost through deleting the app, damage to your iPhone, software updates, or Corexis being discontinued.

Streaks and points

Streaks, scores, points and badges are for motivation only. They are not a clinical record of your progress.

We can't guarantee these will be kept. We aren't liable if a streak or score is lost through a technical error, a change of device or a change to the service.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue Corexis, or any part of it, at any time, with or without notice. We aren't liable to you or anyone else for doing so.

If we decide to shut Corexis down permanently, we will try to give at least 30 days' notice in an app update and on this website. Making a backup regularly means you keep a copy of your data.

If we change these terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top.

Purchases

Corexis doesn't offer purchases yet. Terms for subscriptions and the one-time purchase will be added here before they launch.
